Omega Chapter

Dr. Isaac “Ike” Williams Jr. Ed.D grew up in Palestine, Texas and attended East Texas University where he played shortstop on the baseball team. At East Texas University he pledged Theta Theta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. because they were men of service, dedication, and character. He crossed Fall 1971 and was given the line name Black Moses because he always wanted to save and help someone and was a proud member of the fraternity for 51 years.  In addition, he held various leadership roles throughout his career in the field of education and also found time to write a book to encourage family and friends not to give up no matter what difficult circumstances they encountered in life.  Dr. Williams exemplified the Omega Creed and the advancement of the fraternity.
